NetStreams introduces Crestron and AMX Integration Modules (30/6/2008)

New Downloadable Software Allows AMX and Crestron Integrators to Manage and Control All DigiLinX Linked Devices on the Network

NetStreams(r), the global leader in networked A/V systems based on Internet Protocol (IP) standards, has released the company’s latest software modules allowing integrators to fully incorporate NetStreams’ DigiLinX™ IP-Based multimedia distribution solution with Creston and AMX control systems products. Offering integrators the option of controlling DigiLinX is important for customers who have control and automation needs which require a Crestron or AMX solution. However, for the majority of commercial applications, the DigiLinX native control application and user interface provides all the control functionality necessary and simplifies installation and configuration. The new modules offer a quick and easy solution for tying the systems together and feature sample user interfaces, complete source code and documentation.

NetStreams new Crestron integration includes a sample Windows module, a sample user interface, a DigiLinX project file example, as well as source code and documentation necessary to implement the integration. These components mean that a Crestron programmer would be able to test the integration in under an hour and develop customizations for their specific project from there.

NetStreams new software for AMX integration includes a NetLinX(tm) module, a sample user interface, a DigiLinX project file example, as well as source code and documentation. Similar to the Crestron experience, an AMX programmer would be able to prototype the integration quickly and tailor it for their customer from that starting point.

Both modules have already been used by customers in the field and have proven to simplify the process to tying the two systems together. The integrator and customer benefit have been clear, dramatically reducing the time and cost to create a seamless solution.
