Xantech Launches International version of High Definition 4x4 Matrix Switcher (3/7/2008) CEDIA UK Expo 2008 The 4x4 Matrix Switcher provides high definition content distribution over CAT5e and/or COAX cabling. Xantech expands its HD Distribution line with the release of the HD44C and HD44CC5, available for 240VAC, 50Hz supply voltage. Already sold in North America, the HD44 Series is a 4-source input and 4-display output High Definition component video and digital audio matrix switcher capable of 1080i resolutions. Its features include active loop-thru connectors and the ability to expand the system up to 16 displays. "We are happy to supply our international customers with a complete line of HD video distribution solutions. The addition of the international HD44C and HD44CC5 now gives our customers a wider product selection from which to choose," stated Claude Sabourin, Xantech's Director of International Sales. "The benefit of our product line expansion will allow installers to "custom tailor" price and solution into an attractive A/V system installation for the end user." The HD44C is a COAX based system providing component video and digital audio distribution switching from 4 sources to 4 displays. The HD44C can be expanded up to 4 additional units and is fitted with active source loop-outs, eliminating the need for additional accessories. The HD44CC5 is a COAX based system with the ability to send component video and digital audio distribution over CAT5e wiring. Used with the HDRXSG01 receiver module, HD quality can be maintained over 1000 feet of CAT5e wiring. Both the HD44C and the HD44CC5 systems can be controlled via IR and RS232 commands for flexible installation into any control environment.
