Henley Designs, the leading UK distributor, has confirmed the introduction of the ULTIMATE HDMI cable from van den Hul; a cable that is fully compliant with the new 1.3 standards.

Following the introduction of the excellent VDH HDMI Flat digital interlink a few months ago, the van den Hul company has now unveiled the ultimate in HDMI cable design. This advanced cable features the thickest conductors possible of silver- plated Oxygen Free Copper, with separate insulation of all the cables; an overall double screening of aluminium foil and Ag-OFC braiding and a thick Hulliflex(r) protective covering. The sky blue coloured jacket is made of this high performance, Halogen free material that is chemically sealed, so protecting the inside conductors from external influences. This material is environmentally friendly, both in production and even after many years of service - because it can be burned in an incinerator without producing any harmful gasses or toxic waste. Finally the cable is terminated with high quality metal cased connectors in which all the pins are plated with 24 carat gold.

Using its vast experience and knowledge in cable design Van den Hul has developed what it believes to be the best HDMI cable possible whilst still complying fully with the 1.3b protocol standards. This cable can also be used in applications requiring lengths greater than the usual limit of 15 metres. In fact Van den Hul warrant the full 1080p performance with lengths of up to 25 metres. Indeed with its HDMI repeater product fitted, the total distance between pieces of equipment can now be extended up to 40 metres.

The VDH ULTIMATE HDMI is available now in a range of many standard lengths from 1.0 metre up to 25 metres; with anticipated retail prices in the region of £150.00 for a 1metre length.
