Alphason Designs introduces the new Iconn range of AV furniture (29/7/2008) An Iconnic new range of AV furniture has arrived: ICONN by Alphason Designs. A brave new series of TV and AV support products that dares to set a new trend. Bold, stylish, practical and the perfect partner for today's design-lead TVs. This six-strong line up of eye-catching furniture designs mixes textures, materials and colours to create a sumptuous centre-piece for your living room. Fit and finish has been specified to elevate the affordable AV furniture market to new heights. The mirror-finish gloss paint in a range of exciting colours perfectly matches the ultra-black glass and each design is finished with neat brushed aluminium supports and trims. Ultra-strong and capable of supporting some of the largest plasma and LCD screen, the construction eschews the more traditional 'AV support' design in favour of high-quality joinery and smooth crafted metal-work. The base plinths use thick, strengthened board for rigidity and vibration-damping and the shelves are toughened and polished safety glass at 8mm or 10mm thick. Moreover Iconn has been designed to offer the ultimate in practicality. The two top models (ST870 and ST860) can be expanded from 1000mm wide to 1450mm wide, creating a two-shelf space in the centre for your AV equipment. This versatile arrangement requires no optional extras and can be effected by the user with the supplied in minutes. Features of the Iconn series include 35-degree swivel TV mounts, enclosed drawers with AIRMATIC soft-close mechanisms, chunky roller castors with 360-degree movement, concealed cable management and an integrated 4-gang power socket, depending on model. TV mounting simplicity is ensured with the innovative Iconn 'hang-on' TV-mount system. Available from your local Alphason retailer now, Iconn is offered in piano-black, gloss white, red, light green and Makassdar gloss woodgrain finish, depending on model.
