August unveils DA102A 10.2in widescreen LCD TV with Freeview and analogue tuners (12/8/2008) Freeview and LCD TV specialist August has unveiled a 10.2in Freeview LCD TV in a stylish all-black finish. The August DA102A is an affordable solution to digital TV entertainment for any room including kitchens, bedrooms or the kids room. This slim, light TV can be stand or wall mounted and comes packed with selling features: The 10.2in ultra-bright LCD screen has a widescreen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels with high contrast ratio, on-screen display and graphic menus. A full electronic programming guide (EPG) makes finding and selecting up to 35 Freeview TV channels and Freeview digital radio stations easy. If customers are not yet in a strong Freeview signal area, the DA102A also offers a standard analogue tuner to ensure it will be viable before and after Digital Switchover. A selection of AV inputs lends the DA102A even more flexibility as a games monitor, or to connect a camcorder. Supplied complete with remote control, telescopic aerial and mains power supply, the DA102A a stylish TV that can be also be powered from the supplied car adapter lead or an optional battery pack for true go-anywhere versatility. A desk mounting stand and wall bracket are also included to ensure the DA102A is ready for use straight out of the box. Supplied in full-colour packaging for POS, the DA102A is expected to retail around £145.00 Please note that the indoor antenna supplied will only work in the areas where Freeview signal is strong and a rooftop aerial may be needed to receive Freeview channels in some areas due to insufficient Freeview coverage. An option rechargeable battery pack is available at around £30.00 retail
