MilesTek Introduces HFX-800M and MC750 Video Intercom Systems for Commercial and Residential Use (14/8/2008)

CEDIA US Expo 2008

Two New Expandable Systems Feature Easy Two-Wire Installation, Day-and-Night A/V Recording, and PC/Mac-Compatible SD Card Memory Storage

MilesTek, a global distributor delivering a vast range of networking and A/V integration products, introduces two advanced video intercom systems at CEDIA EXPO '08.

HFX-800M Video Intercom

The HFX-800M Color Hands-Free Expandable Video Intercom and the MC750 Color Expandable Video Intercom raise the standard for video intercoms. Equipped with some of the most advanced technologies available, the stylish systems offers safety, convenience and peace of mind. Both are ideal for commercial and residential environments, and both use simple two-wire connections, making them easy to install, since installers can utilize the two wires from existing doorbell or CAT5 connections.

The HFX-800M Color Hands Free Expandable Video Intercom is among the first to include a Day-and-Night CCD chipset and full-motion audio/video recording on a removable Secure Digital (SD) Flash-memory card. As a result, video clips from the intercom can be viewed and archived on any PC or Mac. The system can be expanded to include a total of two cameras and four monitors. The HFX-800M Color Hands Free Expandable Video Intercom is among the first to include a Day-and-Night CCD chipset and full-motion audio/video recording on a removable Secure Digital (SD) Flash-memory card. MC750 Video Intercom

The HFX-800M operates in color during daylight hours and automatically switches to black-&-white in low-light conditions. Simply ringing the doorbell prompts the system to transmit live A/V directly to the monitor. At this point, users can simply touch a button to communicate through the intercom. Users not at home can see who was at their door through the A/V recording feature and SD card.

Additional system features include compatibility with a wide range of wires from CAT5 (24 AWG) to 18 AWG, a four-inch color LCD monitor, a 1/3-inch color CCD camera, date-and-time stamping on the SD card, a weather-resistant doorbell housing, LED illumination for night viewing, adjustable speaker and chime volumes, illuminated buttons on the video monitor and doorbell, a 92-degree viewing angle, and a remote door release.

The MC750 Color Expandable Video Intercom, winner of a Product Achievement Award at the ISC Security show, incorporates the features of a surveillance camera, an audio intercom and a doorbell. It includes a master four-inch color LCD monitor, a doorbell and a power supply. A built-in 32-picture memory with date-and-time stamping lets users know who was at their door even when they're away.

The system can be expanded up to a total of four cameras and eight monitors. The additional monitors allow users to conveniently answer the door and communicate with other monitors from anywhere within a home or office. This flexible expansion capability lets the system grow according to the needs of its owners, whether it's a family or a business.

Additional features include a 1/3-inch color CCD camera, a Day-and-Night chipset, a TV-out connection, intercom and broadcast capabilities between monitors, bi-directional audio, a weatherproof metal doorbell and camera housing, adjustable intercom volume, LED illumination for night viewing, and a remote door release.

MilesTek's new HFX-800M and MC750 Video Intercom Systems are available now and can be seen with MilesTek's other outstanding products at Booth 244, Colorado Convention Center, during the show.
