SpeakerCraft Wins Top Honors at CEDIA Expo (22/9/2008)

CEDIA US EXpo 2008

iPhone interface wins Best New Product in Manufacturer's Excellence Awards

SpeakerCraft, America's original manufacturer of in-wall speakers is pleased to announce that their ERS 1.0 iPhone Interface Kit was awarded Best New Product in CEDIA's Manufacturer's Excellence Awards at the recent Expo in Denver Colorado. The Best New Product winners were selected onsite at EXPO from a list of 30 finalists by a committee of industry professionals. The ERS 1.0 Kit is an accessory that adds the iPhone interface function to SpeakerCraft's popular MZC platform. By connecting the MZC to the home's existing WiFi network the iPhone becomes a remote that can control the system from anywhere inside or outside the house. Its reach is only limited by the home's wireless network. By taking advantage of the iPhone's Safari(r) browser there is no necessity to download or program the iPhone itself. In fact there is essentially no programming required at all for existing MZC systems. The unit is literally plug-n-play.

"It is great to be recognized by CEDIA for our technological advances," said Jeremy Burkhardt, SpeakerCraft's CEO. "We are always pushing the envelope and looking for ways to make our dealer's lives easier and more profitable. The iPhone Interface is a tremendous addition to our MZC audio/video control and distribution offering."
