(RTI), the leading control systems manufacturer, whas introduced a new interface which will incorporate two-way communication into its wide array of award-winning control solutions. For the first time ever, RTI's intuitive two-way interface capabilities, complete with a redesigned graphics suite, will be on display in Booth #128 at CEDIA Expo 2008 , held Sept. 4-7 in Denver, Colo. "We are thrilled to offer these new two-way communication capabilities to complement our complete line of control solutions," said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. "Offering total control of any entertainment or home automation system, this new interface will give end users access to information at their fingertips, such as the current temperature or what song they are listening to." The full-color GUI on display at CEDIA Expo 2008 will demonstrate its simplified control of media and home automation systems by providing status information from devices via a beautiful new graphical interface. Feedback on current song selections, security status or environmental services such as HVAC or lighting, give the end-user the highest level of intuitive control from an RTI in-wall controller or even a handheld remote utilizing the ZM-24 Zigbee(r) Transceiver Module . In addition, web-based templates provide the end-user with quick access to current and forecasted weather conditions and more. Users will also enjoy a new graphics suite designed by Guifx specifically for RTI's latest innovation. "This design is very special," said Morgan Strauss, director of operations for Guifx. "The graphics complement the industrial design of RTI's hardware by incorporating some of the same colors and styling. This not only provides a seamless aesthetic, but more importantly, a truly consistent user experience across RTI's entire panel line-up. We also spent an extensive amount of time perfecting the usability before going back over it and making it gorgeous. The result is clean, simple, and easy to use."
