Optimum launches new Revo range of revolving TV stands (14/11/2008)

Optimum International looks set to turn heads with the launch of a new range of revolving TV stands from its AV furniture collection by US design studio BDI.

Revo is the latest addition to the innovative BDI by Optimum range. This stylish cylindrical TV stand has a rotating base, which allows the screen to be easily positioned.

Revo is designed for mounting LCD and plasma flat panel TVs. It features storage for components behind curved grey tinted safety glass doors, which are infra-red remote control friendly. Available in two model sizes and a choice of wood finishes - natural stained cherry or espresso on oak.

Design features include built-in ventilation to keep AV components cool, removable back panel for easy equipment access and integrated cable management. Both models feature an open top compartment for component storage and adjustable inner shelves.

Optimum's Managing Director John Ogden says: "Revo's rotating base means that the screen can be positioned for viewing from anywhere in the room. The cylindrical design is corner friendly and the contemporary look offers a perfect fit for the living room, bedroom or home office."

Revo 9980 (H860mm x W760mm x D520mm) is a rotating TV stand for smaller systems, with flat panel screen size up to 37 inches. It features a grey tinted safety glass door and four shelves, including an open top compartment for AV components (maximum depth 355mm).

Revo 9980 is available in a natural stained cherry or espresso on oak finish. The model has an RRP of £595.

The larger Revo 9981 model (H520mm x W1550mm x D560mm) is designed for flat panel TV screens up to 52 inches. It features an open top compartment and three shelves behind twin grey tinted safety glass doors.

The shelves of the Revo 9981 model are designed for components with a maximum depth of 480mm. Available in natural stained cherry or espresso on oak finish. Revo 9981's RRP is £995.
