dnp shows its projection screens in action (31/12/2008)

Stand 10N118, Integrated Systems Europe 2009

Optical projection screen pioneer dnp presents the ultimate in projection displays and a new ceiling mount system for award-winning dnp Supernova Flex Screen

dnp, the world's leading supplier of optical screen technology, will demonstrate some of their most spectacular, high-tech front and rear projection screens at ISE 2009 in Amsterdam.

The ISE show will mark the European launch of dnp's new Ceiling Cassette for the dnp Supernova Flex Screen that makes the retractable screen more discrete than ever.

"Eight out of ten installations with retractable front projection screens are currently ceiling-mounted, so we anticipate a dramatic increase in sales as a result of the introduction of the Ceiling Cassette for the Supernova Flex. This new installation option will undoubtedly drive new business for installers who work with the Supernova Flex Screens," says General Manager of dnp denmark, Niels Hermansen.

Apart from the new ceiling mounted version of the dnp Supernova Flex, dnp will present the Supernova Infinity, which offers unlimited screen size possibilities.

Visitors can also experience why many AV experts consider the dnp Sigma Screen to be the ultimate optical rear projection screen.

The following screens and technologies will be exhibited at dnp's stand:

Award-winning Supernova technology

A revolutionary high-contrast filter allows the projected image of dnp's Supernova Screens to be reflected from the screen head-on. It absorbs light efficiently from other sources so the screen remains virtually unaffected by ambient light.
dnp Supernova optical front projection screens also allow the viewer to experience contrast ratios up to 10 times better than those achievable using standard front screens.

The following Supernova Screen models will be on display:
