Somfy integrates the world of home technologies (2/1/2009)

The central control systems of the Home technology players can control the whole range of applications that Somfy motorizes.

Somfy products become part of the digital network:

* With Somfy interfaces, or soon directly with Somfy motors, all the applications that Somfy motorizes are now compatible with the central controls.
* Somfy digital motors can be individually and easily identified on a network (addressability).
* The wired bi-directional technology allows to know the status and positions of Somfy products at any time.

Whatever the constraints of installation are, Somfy can offer a solution, which is compatible with the digital network thanks to the RS485 RTS Transmitter and the RS485 4ILT Interface.

RS485 4ILT Interface

The new Somfy digital interface brings simplicity and comfort to Home Cinema addicts: in one click, the projection screen automatically positions itself in the appropriate format.

* Memorize up to 8 format,
* Control up to 4 Somfy motors,
* Can be controlled by:
- RS485,
- Infrared,
- Trigger up to 30V.

RS485 RTS Transmitter

The new Somfy RTS motor controller can manage all your Somfy applications easily using the same centralized home control system.

* Control the whole range of Somfy RTS products,
* Control up to 16 groups of products,
* Can be controlled via:
- RS485,
- Dry contact / relays.
