Dynalite unveils new Dynalite Dimension dealer accreditation and training framework (2/1/2009) Stand 3A110, Integrated Systems Europe 2009 In support of the rapidly growing intelligent building market, leading lighting control and automation solutions provider, Dynalite, will unveil a new dealer accreditation and training framework at the Integrated Systems Europe exhibition in February. Known as Dynalite Dimension, the program will provide standardised training, improved access to technical support, and essential marketing support to all accredited companies and individuals.
"With the launch of Dynalite Dimension, we aim to assist current and future Dynalite dealers to provide the highest possible quality of service to their customers--who are also our customers," said Phil Main, Dynalite residential segment manager. "It's much more than a mere formalisation of existing relationships; Dimension will bring Dynalite's existing network of distributors and dealers closer together, creating an environment in which all businesses can flourish and the end-user receives the optimum solution." At the heart of the Dynalite Dimension program will be a standardised educational syllabus to ensure accredited dealers--including AV installers, system integrators and electrical contractors--stay up to date with the latest in Dynalite's cutting-edge lighting control and building automation technologies. New standardised training modules will be introduced to cover system design, product application and software, coupled with mandatory ongoing skills competency testing for nominated sales/project design engineers, programmers and installers. All training and testing will be delivered and hosted by factory-trained representatives of Dynalite's regional distributors. Accredited Dimension dealers will also have access to exclusive Dynalite-hosted online forums and regional dealer conferences for information exchange. All participants in the Dynalite Dimension program will be promoted on the Dynalite global web site, plus will have access to Dimension-branded marketing materials. According to Lucien McQueen, Dynalite Europe business development manager, the creation of Dynalite Dimension is partly in response to keen interest in such a program from many European installers and system integrators. "These are the guys who are dealing with the end-users of Dynalite technology at the coal-face," he said. "It makes sense that they not only have the latest technical information and training, but that they also feel as though they belong to the Dynalite network. The Dynalite Dimension brand will achieve just that." "Dynalite Dimension will give peace of mind to all members of the Dynalite network," said Main. "Our distributors can feel confident that they're working with dealers who are trained appropriately, and the dealers themselves know they're part of a program that will give them the promotion, training and support to build a solid business using Dynalite. It's win-win all round."
