NuVo Technologies unveils innovations to its whole-home audio solutions designed specifically for the European market (9/1/2009) Stand 1L113, Integrated Systems Europe 2009 NuVo Technologies, the leader in affordable, complete, easy to install and use whole-home audio systems, will unveil a series of innovations tailored specifically for the European market, on Stand #1L113 at ISE 2009. Significant developments on show in the company's successful Essentia E6G and Grand Concerto suite offerings include recently launched DAB and FAM dual tuners, country specific keypad designs and newly extended system support for four major European languages.
"Custom installers across Europe can capitalise on the high margin opportunities for whole-house audio only if manufacturers provide them with systems that appeal strongly to their customers, explains David Rodarte, President and Chief Operating Officer at NuVo Technologies. "We are taking this clear message out to the industry with our biggest ever presence at ISE 2009. This event provides the perfect platform for our game-changing product range that's purpose designed to satisfy local preferences and help European dealers grow their audio business." Introduced at the show will be Russian language support for NuVo's Essentia E6G and Grand Concerto whole-home audio systems. With simple programming from the installer, homeowners can choose to view menu options and control the system in Cyrillic script for complete ease of use. Other language formats currently available include Spanish, French, German and English. NuVo has plans to roll out further European language support over the next 18 months. Visitors to booth #1L113 can also see NuVo's single rack NV-T2DAB dual tuner, which receives FM and DAB broadcasts simultaneously. The tuner's signals can then be distributed throughout a home using NuVo's Essentia E6G or Grand Concerto whole-home audio systems. A further significant feature is metadata display. As with all NuVo music source equipment, the two output DAB tuner displays metadata on NuVo display pads, which is not possible with freestanding DAB devices nor available as a feature in equipment provided by other distributed audio manufacturers. In another move to support European growth, NuVo will showcase its new style, in-wall control pads, featuring low energy, OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screens complete with a range of faceplates designed to meet individual country sizes and tastes across the region. Also on display will be a new, hand-held Wireless Control Pad, allowing remote control of Essentia E6G and Grand Concerto systems and sources complete with metadata ISE visitors will also have the chance to take a closer look at NuVo's new Music Port. This allows multiple sources of music to be managed from anywhere in the house via a simple user interface. When paired with the Grand Concerto or Essentia E6G system, the Music Port works together with the home network to turn a dedicated host PC into a music server with up to six sources of music running simultaneously. Any and all of networked or client PCs can become conduits to music, whether held in iTunes, Windows Media Player, or any other player. NuVo's award-winning, energy star certified Essentia E6G system is a diverse, expandable, and affordable six-source, six-zone system. The main amplification unit can supply 40 watts to each zone, which can be extended to 12 with the system expander, delivering precise, high quality sound throughout the home. It also includes a state of the art power supply to minimise energy consumption and the risk of heat-related equipment failure. Essentia E6G is the first whole-home audio system to earn the coveted Energy Star logo - consuming less than one watt of power while in standby mode. Grand Concerto is an elegant, six-source, eight-zone whole home audio system that combines NuVo's proven performance and the industry's most innovative technology. It incorporates an innovative capacitive touch Interface and provides 80 watts of power per zone to create the NuVo signature sound - impeccably crisp and clean at any volume. The system also comes with a built-in infrared receiver designed to block adverse interference from plasma displays, sunlight, or fluorescent lighting. Both Grand Concerto and Essentia systems work with NuVo's hard wired whole-home audio network - NuVoNet - which enables all of the company's systems to talk to each other across the property.
