Open AV previews its OpenAV control solution (27/1/2009) Stand 1L37, Integrated Systems Europe 2009 Open AV Ltd, announces that it will be unveiling a preview of its new OpenAV™ control solution at IS Europe 2009, Amsterdam RAI, February 3 A – 5. Open AV™ control software has been developed in the UK and delivers a unique solution to efficiently and conveniently control all the systems in the home or commercial environment. Facilities include: control of; audio and visual distribution, on demand TV distribution, lighting and elect trical management, heating, security and access control. Integrated Control Solution n – Control Without Limits Open AV allows users to take coontrol through both advanced and conventional methods, interfacing bi-directionally with supported IP connected equipment, RS232/U USB, RS485, IR and contact closure relays, further interfaces to many common brands are continually being developed and effectively there are no limits as to what can be achieved. OpenAV facilitates full remote administration capabilities, allowing integrators to add/delete/replace sources and palettes seamlessly, without the need to visit or program individual control panels. RSS feeds and user data such as news, we eather, stocks and email can be simply addedd to the visual interface. Video streaming of all sources is also enabled as an option to allow pip functions on all control panels. Unique Remote Access Open AV is based on client server technology and can, therefore, be tailored specifically to suit individual requirements and innovatively allows for full control from any client/location using any device supporting an internet browser, this includes, embedded in-wall panels, Linux, Microsoft and Apple pc’s, netbooks, tablet pc’s, iPhone™, smartphone or any browser enabled device. With Open AV, users can access and control any room within their property - or multiple dwellings - from any room or from any worldwide location. Green Credentials: reduce power consumption in the home! Open AV are working with a number of partners on integrating and managing energy consumption data within the home. Open AV’s recent link into the Sensible HHeat/Honeywell Hometronic system will be shown on the stand, Open AV allows users to access and adjust heating and lighting according to their exact needs, reducing unnecessary waste.
