AudioQuest Shows New Audio Cable Designs (27/1/2009) Stand 1M75, Integrated Systems Europe 2009 Top-tier technology influences new designs. AudioQuest, a leading provider of high-performance audio/video/data cables, is introducing new high-performance cable designs at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). Influenced by the Company's high-end William E. Low Signature Series line, the new entries include audio interconnect "Wild Blue Yonder" and speaker cable, "Meteor". Wild Blue Yonder is the first of a new family of designs from William Low, CEO, founder and Chief Designer, to be named the Wild Series. The interconnect features Solid Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) conductors, Teflon Air-Tube and a 5-Layer Noise-Dissipation System. The cable will be available in RCA or XLR configurations. Price for a 1m pair; $4,200.00 USD. Meteor combines AudioQuest's solid Perfect Surface Copper+ (PSC+) together with PSS Silver conductors to create a unique listening opportunity. The company's patented Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) and optimization for full range or biwiring round out the offering. An 8' pair carries a retail price of $3,090.00 USD. "Expanding the frontiers" AudioQuest will again be exhibiting at ISE on February 3-5 in booth 1M75 in the Residential Solution Area at the RAI in Amsterdam. In multiple directions, AQ plans to expand the frontiers of quality, convenience and performance in both its analog audio portfolio as well as in high-speed digital products like a new HDMI cable design which promises to deliver 1080p signal over 25 meters with virtually no data errors.
