Niko unveils Nikobus Outdoor Motion Detector (6/2/2009) Integrated Systems Europe 2009 Niko, the Belgian market-leading control company, is demonstrating its commitment to the growing home automation market by using ISE 2009 as the showcase to unveil new detector & sensor products as part of its strategy to grow its market share across Europe in 2009. The Detector is powered from a 12 to 16 volt ac/dc supply or can be powered directly from a Nikobus cable and after a detection it automatically returns to the "Off" setting after a delay time. The light sensitivity is from 5 Lux up to an infinite value and the detection area can be limited by using the adjustable cover mask. This new Niko Outdoor Motion Detector has IP54 protection levels and complies with all the relevant European EMC and safety directives.
