Niko announces new Pronto templates for free download (6/2/2009) Integrated Systems Europe 2009 Niko, the Belgian market-leading control company, is demonstrating its commitment to the growing home automation market by using ISE 2009 as the showcase to unveil some of the stunning new products that are part of its strategy to grow its market share across Europe in 2009. Niko is presenting at ISE 2009 a new suite of software to integrate the popular Philips Pronto remote control as part of a Nikobus home automation system. The Philips Pronto is a universal remote control handset which is very popular with many installers. Used within a Nikobus installation the whole house can be controlled centrally: lighting, shutters and audio as well as the television and other entertainment sources. In fact with Nikobus, 300 functions can be programmed in all and now templates for each room can be freely downloaded from the Niko website and specifically customised for each room.
