Intensia unveils L series whole house automation system (6/2/2009) Integrated Systems Europe 2009 The Instensia L series incorporates some of the very best solutions that are available for making homes easy to operate, easy to run - and, just as importantly, they radiate true quality and style. The Intensia system of Home Automation works with a decentralised structure making it both very powerful and future-oriented. It is both adaptable and flexible allowing the end-user to easily modify many of the functions without involving a technician. This user-friendly solution gives problem-free control of heating, lighting, curtains, sun-blinds, security alarms, and audio & video sources and programmes. The L-series range starts with the inMedia which allows for an abundance of storage for your favourite audio and video recordings to be delivered throughout the house along with the huge array of internet radio stations. The inControl touchpanels radiate elegance and simplicity. Using 'sensitive glass' touchscreens simplifies their operation, with the functions appearing on a clearly readable screen ready to be selected with a simple touch. The inDial touchscreens also feature 'sensitive glass' to simplify operation along with a turn-dial giving a more natural control of fine-tuning and report-back. The inTouch provides a central control for lighting and heating, and incorporates a screen to show activity at access points such as gates and doors as well as showing images delivered from surveillance cameras. Integrating effortlessly and elegantly into any room, the inSight screen provides control of access points - as well as monitoring activity in these areas using the surveillance cameras, it is also possible to open doors and gates from the conveniently located touchscreen. Completing the range is a very discreet sensor, the inSense, which although extremely diminutive, just 4mm in diameter, provides a very effective monitor of motion and light. Commenting on the Company's attendance at ISE, Niko UK's Steven Calder, said: "The Intensia whole house automation system is one of the most desirable solutions you can buy with immediate customer appeal on many levels. This year we are announcing a number of really outstanding products at the show including the new media server. We know that Intensia has worked hard to ensure that its products are extremely reliable, easy to install and to use, and exhibits great customer appeal. We're looking forward to demonstrating its capabilities to everyone who visits our stand this year."
