Dynalite strengthens presence in Middle East and North Africa (3/3/2009)

Lighting control and automation group, Dynalite, has added the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Jordan to its global network of technical and sales support centres. Servicing the Middle East and North African markets, Dynalite's new offices complement the company's existing domestic distributor and channel partner network, and extend the company's global reach.

The opening of Dynalite's new offices provides industry with premium access to the company's comprehensive range of lighting control and automation solutions, backed by its global experience and know-how. Dynalite's new United Arab Emirates office is located in the Dubai Airport-Free Zone (DAFZA), with the new Jordan office situated in Amman and the Kuwait office in Kuwait City. With this strengthened presence in the region, the Dynalite team is well positioned to support local projects and provide fast response times to inquiries from Pakistan, through to Morocco.

According to Dynalite Regional Director Middle East/North Africa, Mutassem Abu Diak, the sustained high level of commercial and residential project activity in the region has seen a large demand for fully integrated lighting control and automation solutions. "Residential developments and 'smart' homes equipped with automated lighting, audio-visual (AV) and environment control systems are now the 'norm' throughout the Middle East," he said. "Sophisticated control and automation systems are no longer the exclusive domain of luxury villas and penthouses. Such systems are now commonplace in one and two-bedroom apartments and family homes. Dynalite is one of the few local lighting control and automation providers that can offer this level of integration."

Similarly, hotels and commercial buildings in the region are implementing room management systems (RMS), which feature comprehensive automated control systems to ensure all aspects of room comfort, are maintained at a desirable level. "With visitors and local residents becoming accustomed to such levels of controllability, hotels are increasingly implementing all-encompassing automated systems to control lighting schemes, AV equipment, curtain and blinds and temperature," said Abu Diak. "Fully integrated lighting control and automation systems are the way of the future in this region. With the establishment of our new offices in United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Jordan, Dynalite is ideally placed to support these developments."

Middle East and North African industry will also be able to leverage Dynalite's expertise in 'green' lighting control and automation system design. "Energy efficiency and sustainable design are essential in the Middle East building domain," said Abu Diak. "Dynalite's comprehensive range of energy saving solutions, coupled with its local technical expertise empowers building owners and occupiers to realise truly effective lighting energy management strategies."
