AGFEO shows StromPhonie Powerline telephone technology (23/3/2009)

AGFEO Telecommunications, a leading company in the development, manufacturing and distribution of ISDN/IP solutions and automated building control is this year too at the CeBIT in Hanover, Germany.

In Hall 12, Stand C 50 the manufacturer from Bielefeld displays not only the proven ISDN/IP products and green communications solution but also the new AGFEO StromPhonie. The StromPhonie is an integration into the Powerline technology within AGFEO Telephone Systems and therefore does not require any wiring for extension sockets. With the aid of IP based ASIP (AGFEO System IP) technology system phones can be connected to the telephone system using the standard 230 Volt mains socket. This could revolutionise the installation of telephone systems as we know today.

Compatibility with others HomePlug vendors, like for example products from DEVOLO AG, offer the connectivity of PC systems to the AGFEO StromPhonie and therefore may utilise the CTI functionality of AGFEO's TK-Suite Professional software.

AGFEO paid particular attention to the Apple community. As users and dealers are used to a simple installation and uncomplex user guidance. This is why AGFEO's StromPhonie is the first telephone system which offers system telephony in connection with a fully Apple compatible CTI solution, including the synchronisation with an iPhone representation.
