Draper Group Limited opens offices in UK (30/3/2009)

Draper, Inc. and Bjurab have announced the joint formation of Draper Group Limited. Draper Group Limited is centrally located in Corby, Northamptonshire, with a sales office, warehouse and training facility serving distributors, dealers/resellers, AV consultants, architects and end-users throughout the UK.

"We already have a finished goods inventory, which is a real benefit for the UK market," according to Wakeley Gage, who as Operations Manager oversees the six-person sales, logistics and customer service operation in Corby, within minutes of the M1 and A1. "This means most popular products and models are available for immediate shipment without the need to pay for air freight across the Atlantic or Europe."

In addition to on-hand stock, the location in Corby means customers do not need to plan their dealings with Draper Group Limited around a four or five hour time difference with a U.S.-based headquarters. Wakeley believes this allows Draper Group Limited to better bring Draper's focus on customer satisfaction to the UK.

"Draper is well known in North America for a commitment to servicing all a customer's needs," Wakeley points out, "and Draper Group Limited is intent on earning the same reputation, but in a way that is uniquely tailored to meeting the needs of the UK marketplace."
