Action Distribution announces new B&O compatible products from Corvo Technology (1/5/2009) Stand C22, CEDIA UK Expo 2009 Corvo Technology has recently added two Bang & Olufsen compatible IR receivers to their range. The IRR-455 is for use with B&O 455KHz IR signals, and has been designed to reject high noise interference from Plasma and LCD displays. The IRR-40/455 is a dual band IR receiver capable of handling both B&O IR frequencies as well as the more common lower 40KHz IR frequencies allowing both B&O and non B&O equipment to be used in the same system. In common with all of Corvo IR products these new products benefit from Corvo's unique active digital regeneration technology whereby their IR receivers provide high noise rejection and optical filtering of incoming IR signal, caused both by plasma displays and lighting and then regenerate the code onto a new carrier for clean reliable transmission.
