PALME Asia offers VIP programme (13/5/2009)

A vibrant show with a breath of fresh air is what will be awaiting visitors to the 21st edition of PALME Asia to be held from 16 to 18 July 2009 at Suntec Singapore. Despite the economic slowdown, the myriad of activities that have been lined up for PALME Asia 2009 is set to excite exhibitors and visitors alike.

One of the major visitor promotion campaigns to draw key buyers is the PALME Asia VIP programme. In collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), PALME Asia will fly in large corporate and public sector buyers and “Purchasing Mission Groups” of current ongoing projects in the region to visit the show. These esteemed buyers to the show will definitely add to the quality of our visitors, ensuring that top notch visitors pass through our doors. Qualified buyers will receive 3 days, 2 nights fully-sponsored hotel accommodation. Other benefits that these VIPs will receive at the show include:

• Fast track to registration
• Access to VIP Lounge for coffee and tea
• Networking opportunities at the Buyers-Sellers Luncheon
• A complimentary delegate seat at any one of the Knowledge Hub Seminars

The Buyers-Sellers Networking Luncheon will be held during the show to give our exhibitors a platform to have some exclusive networking opportunity with our VIP Buyers. This is also an invaluable opportunity for our guest buyers to gain a better insight on the solutions available to them.

This year more than 12 seminars presented by key speakers from the industry will take place at the PALME Asia Knowledge Hub on all 3 days of the exhibition. They include Justin
J. Ross, Director of Business Development for Stark Raving Solutions, who will be speaking on Best Practices in AV Systems Integration, Robert Soo, an established consultant on Church Sound Systems who will be addressing the audience on The Science & Art behind A Live Worship Sound Mix and Scott Willsallen, Director and Principal Consultant of Auditoria Pty Ltd, who will update delegates on Designing effective and energy efficient audio systems for sports and entertainment venues. These seminars will serve the targeted visitors that the show seeks to attract. Participants to these different seminars will gain an in-depth understanding on the latest industry trends and best practices.

In addition, many manufacturers and distributors will be conducting their Product Workshops featuring their innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies. Interested buyers will obtain a greater appreciation on the products and services available from the various exhibitors.

At the end of each day, chill out and let your hair down at some of our special networking activities planned specially for you. The PALME Asia Party and PALME Asia Happy Hour on Day 1 and 2 respectively will provide drinks and entertainment to last the entire evening, as you network and catch up with your industry counterparts.
