Convergent Home Technologies launches Dianemo Professional range of audio/video and home automation systems (20/5/2009) Last Autumn Convergent Home Technologies Ltd (CHT) launched Dianemo, an innovative versatile and flexible audio/video and home automation system. This has been very well received by enthusiasts, home owners and property developers alike. In response to the demands of custom installers CHT are pleased to announce the launch of the Dianemo Professional range. The system has been enhanced to cater for the larger customised installs and is complemented by a range of high quality hardware.
The wider needs of the professional installer have been accommodated within the range of 'partnership packages' that have been developed. Dianemo has been developed to support audio/TV recording and distribution (including Sky/Virgin Media), lighting, security/environmental control,telephony and browser capability from a central 'nerve centre'. Services are delivered to zones throughout the property through 'media managers' which can be be centralised or located remotely depending on individual customer needs. Additional zones or functionality can be be added subsequently to allow the professional installer the opportunity extend the system to provide clients with enhancements in the future. The robust Linux based solution is already compatible with many industry standard protocols and can be extended to cater for any specific needs. KNX and Z-wave control is provided as part of the standard system. Dianemo can be pre-configured prior to delivery and can be customised and supported remotely if necessary. Support packages can be tailored to meet the needs of individual installers.
