Panasonic showcases TH-65VX100 and TH-50VX100 full HD home cinema plasma displays (22/5/2009) Stands D10 & D12, CEDIA UK Expo 2009 Panasonic Corporation has today announced it will be showcasing its two recently launched full HD home cinema plasma displays (TH-65VX100 and TH-50VX100) and the flagship 103" at CEDIA Expo 2009 in London 23-25th June, in partnership with their exclusive custom home theatre distributor AWE Europe Ltd. CEDIA Expo is the key event for the residential custom installation industry, displaying the latest innovations and technologies. At the show, Panasonic is keen to illustrate how it plans to lead the way in Plasma technology with both wide range of sizes, and outstanding quality. With a historical commitment to expanding its product line-up for luxury home cinema applications and professional AV alike, Panasonic will feature the TH-65VX100 and TH-50VX100 plasma displays which have up to a 60,000:1 contrast ratio and both incorporate industry leading 18bit video processing. The contrast is amongst the highest ratios in the industry and both models have incorporated Panasonic's recently-developed 'Dynamic Black Layer', which deepens the black and boosts the contrast. Launched in 2006, the 103" plasma is still the largest in the industry delivering more than two million pixels of performance and increasingly being adopted into home cinema applications. "We're in a great market position right now, despite the economic crisis, with high end install numbers steady and few competitors in the market", says Daniel Rose, Category Manager, Panasonic Plasma and Projector Displays UK. "CEDIA Expo 2009 is the perfect platform to showcase our leading edge plasma technology and underscore the strength of our professional partnerships with companies like AWE Europe Ltd." Panasonics products will be showcased on AWE Europe Ltd's booth (No.D10 & D12) at the CEDIA Expo, being held at the London Excel Centre, 23-25th June.
