Niko UK announces two major new appointments (1/6/2009)

Niko UK, the leading supplier of home automation and lighting control solutions, continues to move forward with astonishing speed with the announcement from Niko UK's Stephen Calder that he is expanding the UK sales force with the appointment of two of the industry's leading sales professionals.

Paul Dall'Occo and Ken Weller have joined the company to work with installers helping them to develop their businesses using the wide range of Niko custom installation solutions.

Paul Dall'Occo brings a wealth of experience in the custom installation industry, having worked for KEF and the Multi-Room Company and with almost thirty years working within the broader consumer electronics arena. Commenting on his new role, Paul said "I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to join Niko UK at such an exciting point in the development of the UK operation."

"I have known the Directors, Stephen and Karen Calder, for over ten years now and have been very impressed at the way that Niko has evolved under their stewardship. Now that they have formed Niko (UK) Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Belgian company, I believe that the potential is almost limitless."

Ken Weller, is the other highly respected industry professional who has joined the Niko UK sales force. Ken's background includes working with Crestron, B&W, Tannoy and Kaleidescape, and this has enabled him to build a strong relationship with installers, understanding the levels of support they need to build their businesses.
