Vogel's signs Invision UK to address CI channel (13/7/2009) Vogel's, the European market leader in innovative audio and video equipment mounting and placement solutions, has appointed Invision UK as its primary channel distributor for the custom installation (CI) sector. Vogel's is currently market leader in Denmark and Finland as well as its native Netherlands. However, the UK market is of strategic importance to the European market leader and Vogel's wants to increase its market share from 5% to at least 30% in the next few years. Roland van Marlen, business unit manager for Vogel's Professional, said: At Vogel's, we aim to work with and influence the leading installers in the UK and form partnerships with those companies looking for stylish and innovative mounts to enhance the solutions for their customers. We are very confident that Invision UK will help us to grow our market share." Commenting on the development, Mark Taylor, product manager for Invision Express, said: "Vogel's clearly has very ambitious growth aspirations. Vogel's mounts lead the industry in terms of innovation, design and build quality, so I see absolutely no reason why the brand cannot achieve a market leadership position in the UK."
