dnp announces Supernova Core and Supernova One Screen screens in new formats (20/7/2009) dnp is pleased to announce availability of Supernova Core and Supernova One Screen in two new formats, which are gaining ground in the projection industry. 16:10 – the new business format Since most laptop manufacturers have changed to this screen format, 16:10 is expected to replace 4:3 as the de facto standard for business presentations in the future. This calls for large screens in the same format, as most presenters prefer a perfect, distortion-free projection of the image on the pc. 2.35:1 – the true home cinema format Dedicated movie fans like to watch their films in the format the director intended: 2.35:1 – also known as cinemascope. Today, a growing number of dedicated home cinema projectors support this format. All you need to complete the experience is a Supernova Screen in 2.35:1.
