The American based company’s products are designed to retrofit any active or passive loudspeaker, thereby bringing the freedom of wireless capability to any indoor or outdoor wired audio system. All products in the extensive range are designed from the ground up and exceed the quality, reliability and durability demands of the professional and home/CI markets.
The Airfonix™ range includes state of the art 24-bit two channel transmitters and receivers, all of which are housed in slim line aluminium extruded cases and boast Smart channel selection that automatically avoids interference with other wireless devices. The AFX-19PT002 and AFX-19PT102 transmitters feature, S/PDIF Coaxial, Balanced, Unbalanced RCA and the latter with the addition of optical and high level input source connectivity with the digital inputs accepting both 44.1 and 48khz. There are two receivers in the current range that provide supreme uncompressed, 24-bit digital audio. Firstly the AFX-19PR001 is a rugged, dual-channel wireless receiver featuring balanced and low-level source connectivity reception and output. It is designed to retrofit any high quality active speaker such as the FREE™ or studio monitor. The AFX-19AR050 is a slightly taller unit housing an additional 50W RMS digital amplifier ideal for connection to any passive loudspeaker. With the array of high level, digital and line level inputs the Airfonix™ wireless system offers an audiophile solution with any loudspeaker package, with connectivity with virtually any audio source ranging from a simple i-pod, server or part of a highly sophisticated multi-room system were cables are either not an option or inconvenient.
