abitana extends its Smart Media product range with high definition AV extenders for VGA and HDMI. The new products offer lots of new and interesting possibilities for your Smart Media Home Network. Unlike most other extenders on the market, abitana’s AV extenders only need 1 RJ45 cable link and what’s more, they are very attractively priced.

The Smart Media Home Network is an innovative multimedia home network based on abitana’s own OmniMedia technology. All types of speech, data and audio/video signals are distributed with one type of cable and one type of wall outlet and are controlled in a central patch cabinet with smart electronics.

HDMI

HD television has been on the steady rise since a number of years and its benefits are now well established. With a modern LCD or plasma TV, or a home cinema projector, high quality images are yours to enjoy. The HD settop boxes of most providers are now fitted standard with an HDMI interface.
