HAI Expands International Product Line with IP Suite, Italian Language Products and Integration with Clipsal (3/8/2009) Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced their new IP-based product suite, Italian language products, and integration with Clipsal lighting control. HAI's IP-Based Touchscreens, OmniTouch 5.7e (53A00-2) and OmniTouch 10p (67A00-1) Touchscreens ship ready to use with HAI's new interface design, or can be fully customized using HAI Automation Studio (1126) design software. Customizations include the addition of floor plans and custom images, as well as foreign language support. It also provides the ability view supported IP cameras and to control TV and entertainment components from an HAI Touchscreen.
The HAI Camera Server (87A00-1) converts up to 4 analog surveillance camera signals to IP video streams. Cameras can then be viewed at home or PDA, Smartphone, iPhone or BlackBerry. The new Italian product suite includes the Italian OmniPro II Board Only (HAI part number 20A00-38), Italian Omni IIe Board Only (HAI part number 20A00-39), Italian Omni LT Board Only (HAI part number 21A00-28), Italian PC Access (HAI part number 1105W), and OmniTouch Italian 5.7 Touchscreen (HAI part number 53A00-10). The Omni controllers are also available on a structured wiring mounting plate or an enclosure. The Italian OmniPro II controller has the same functionality as the English OmniPro II, including monitoring and control of security, temperature, lighting, entertainment, and more, but is intended to make the Italian speaking end user more comfortable with the interface. Voice, menu, in-wall Touchscreen, and the PC Access software are all in Italian. Note that the OmniTouch 10p and 5.7e Touchscreens can be customized to display numerous foreign languages, including Italian. HAI has announced the development of Version 3.2 controller firmware for its Omni and Lumina home control systems, which adds the Square D(r) Clipsal(r) integration. Square D Clipsal is the number one brand of electrical accessories in Australia and Asia, and provides advanced lighting control for the 220/240V 50Hz market. HAI products are available through a worldwide network of Distributors and installing Dealers in over 80 countries.
