CHIEF Announces SL151i Automated Projector Lift (3/8/2009) The newly designed SL151i™ Automated Projector Mount provides smooth and quiet movement at the press of a button. Chief Manufacturing, the industry leader in projector, monitor and flat panel TV mounting solutions, is excited to announce the release of the SL151i Automated Smart-Lift Projector Mount, now UL and CE Listed and resized to drop directly into 600x600mm (2’x2’) tiles. Available September, 2009!
The SL151i is a great, automated projector lift for finished ceilings in homes and corporate offices. The mount automatically lowers the projector from the ceiling so you can reveal or conceal at the press of a button. The Smart-Lift offers precise positioning including vertical projector cradle adjustments and fore/aft projector positioning. Quick disconnect provides convenient lamp and filter access on most projectors, and the SL151i maintains registration even when disconnected. Due to its dimensions, the smart lift can also accommodate extra large and heavy projectors, while remaining low-profile and requiring minimal clearance above the ceiling. Table top mounting With the SL151i smart lift, CHIEF provides an industry first solution that offers the possibility to install in a ceiling, but also in a table. In addition, all quick connect/disconnect-, registration- and control features remain valid when table mounted. Multiple control options The smart lift automatically reveals or conceals the projector at the press of a button. It can be controlled via a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch or with a CHIEF infrared remote control (IR10). Due to the option of low voltage control, it is also possible to use one of the many touch panels available on the market.
