KEF introduces new options for KHT3005SE home cinema system (4/8/2009) New KHT3005SE K2 Incorporates Powerful KUBE-2 Subwoofer KEF has announced details of its new KHT3005SE K2 5.1 home cinema system, a reasonably priced high performance KHT3000 series option. With exactly the same *satellites and centre as the multi award winning KHT3005SE - Uni-Q® driver array, ‘tangerine’ waveguide and curved aluminium enclosures, the KHT3005SE K2 is available with a KUBE-2 subwoofer. The KUBE-2 delivers a well defined and impressive bass that integrates powerfully with satellites. The 200W on-board Class-D amplifier has all the flexibility required for personalising the output with frequency and level adjustments and includes a ‘Bass Boost’ control so any personal preference or room specific conditions can be catered for. The KUBE-2 features a side-firing 250mm (10in.) long-throw bass driver and a complementing 250mm (10in.) ABR The new KHT3005SE K2 is set to offer all the performance and flexibility that has made KEF’s KHT Series systems so popular and acclaimed throughout the world. The KEF KHT3005SE K2 has a suggested retail price of £999.99 (complete) and is available from August 1st. At the same time KEF is reducing the retail price of the current KHT3005SE, which incorporates the HTB2SE Subwoofer, by £100.00, giving a new suggested retail price of £1199.99. This step is seen as a massive goodwill gesture to KEF’s retailers and customers during difficult economic conditions. *4 x HTS3001SE, 1 x HTC3001SE
