Advanced Multiroom Product Line For Sphere Certified Integrators Becomes Even More Powerful And Refined

Russound, the #1 brand in multiroom audio, continues to advance its premium E-Series lineup for Sphere Certified Integrators with the enhancement of two of its most popular products, the TSV-E5 touchscreen and the ACA-E5 Multisource/Multizone controller amplifier; and by commencing shipment of its wireless RF remote, the RFR-E5. The new products further extend the state-of-the-art multiroom experience that Sphere Certified Integrators can offer their clients through Russound’s celebrated E-Series.

“In its first two years on the market, the E-Series has earned the commitment of our Sphere Certified Integrators and the hearts of their customers,” said Andy Lewis, Russound’s Director of Product Management. “We’ve now taken a major leap forward with both the ACA-E5 controller/amplifier and its matching TSV-E5 touchscreen, and added a hand-held wireless remote that lets end users enjoy the same rich interface they get from the KLK-E5 Click Wheel Keypad, only from their easy chair, or anywhere in the home. These products let Sphere Integrators specify more feature-rich installations, with demonstrable benefits that their customers can tangibly see in the palm of their hand.”

The ACA-E5 now includes Radio Data Service (RDS) compatibility, providing even more detailed information that helps users choose their entertainment with precision and convenience. The controller can also group multiple zones, such as a den/patio/kitchen combination, for simultaneous management of functions in the designated rooms.

Along with RDS support, the ACA-E5 features a built-in AM/FM tuner, a modular expansion slot for an additional radio tuner, support for up to two doorbells (including internal chime options), IP integration with an included web server for expanded control, remote programming and much more.

Similarly, RDS and other content data can be viewed in their entirety on the TSV-E5 touchscreen, for which Russound was recently granted a design patent. This wall or desktop mounted interface features a high-resolution, 8.4” full color screen, backlit buttons for quickly navigating sources, settings and menu features. Valuable information such as Playlist, Channel, Station, Artist, Song Title, Genre and more are displayed in real time, allowing the user to easily access, control and enjoy music and video from any source in the installation. To extend the versatility of the system even further, Russound has also enhanced the TSV-E5 to control remote zones.

The RFR-E5 Remote is In Stock, Ready to Ship

The stunning content experience made possible by the advanced controller has now been “unplugged” for the end user, thanks to Russound’s new RFR-E5 wireless RF Remote Control, which has begun shipping. This advanced two way RF system remote control features Zone Roaming, making it a primary room remote in every zone the user enters.

The RFR-E5 includes a popular touch ring control surface and a large graphic LCD panel that replicates the entire user experience of the KLK-E5 in the palm of a hand. The RFR-E5 also adds the ability to control additional local IR sources, such as TVs, cable boxes and DVD players. Sleek and friendly, the RFR-E5 is an exciting addition to Russound’s flagship E-Series product line.

The ACA-E5, KLK-E5, TSV-E5 and RFR-E5 are part of Russound’s E-Series, a product line that is available exclusively through Russound’s growing network of Sphere Certified Integrators. To participate in the program, dealers must first belong to a recognized trade association in the consumer electronics, computer, telecom, electrical, or security industries. After eligibility is established, dealers are tested on a variety of relevant subjects that pertain to Russound’s RNET and E-Series product lines.
