Philips Announces Pronto 2-Way Control Solutions from 50 ProntoScript Partners (1/9/2009) CEDIA US Expo 2009 Philips Pronto continues to be leading in the number of seamless 2-way control solutions for its Pronto Control panels. As of September, 2-way solutions will be available from 50 ProntoScript partners. The cooperation between partner companies and Pronto results in an enriched user experience. Thanks to the unique ProntoScript technology, Pronto offers 2way solutions that are flexible and easy to use.
With the introduction of ProntoScript technology in 2007, Philips has enabled full 2-way control applications on its awards winning Pronto control panels. Many leading manufacturers have joined Philips as a partner since, exploiting the programming capabilities to deliver easy-to-use 2-way control modules for their 2-way IP- or RS232 controlled components. Showing status information on light systems, browsing of music and video collections, viewing camera images or checking latest weather forecasts are just some of the applications ProntoScript enables on the Pronto TSU9400, TSU9600 and TSU9800 control panels. The collection of available 2-way modules include solutions for partners such as Aprilaire, HAI, Kaleidescape, Lutron, Russound, Vantage and all major AV receiver brands including Denon, Marantz, Onkyo and Vudu. All these modules are freely accessible from the Pronto website. The ProntoScript modules are very easy to use by simply dragging it into a Pronto project using the ProntoEditProfessional software. Philips Pronto will be present at CEDIA Expo 2009 in Atlanta. The Pronto Team will explain all there is to know about Pronto, ProntoScript and the partners at booth #2018.
