KHT8005 Offers Outstanding Sound Quality and Stylish Looks

KEF has widened the appeal of its popular KHT range to include a new Soundbar Home Theatre System – the KHT8005. Today's sleek flat panel televisions demand an audio solution that complements their stylish good looks while delivering the detailed high definition audio from today's movie soundtracks. The solution is the KEF KHT8005 system - a perfect combination of outstanding audio performance and stylish good looks.

At the heart of the system is the new HTF8003 three channel Soundbar. Delivering on the promise of KEF's renowned KHT-lineage sound quality and solid sonic imaging, the HTF8003 produces the KHT8005’s front soundstage from a single acoustically inert aluminium enclosure that delivers its performance from three separate loudspeakers. Each of the three channels is comprised of a three-way speaker system containing a KEF Uni-Q® driver with 75mm (3-inch) mid-bass driver and 15mm (0.6-inch) HF driver, a 75mm (3-inch) woofer, and 75mm (3-inch) ABR (auxiliary bass radiator) for optimised bass output.

Sized to perfectly balance flat panel TVs 42-inches or larger, the high-gloss black HTF8003 Soundbar comes supplied with both a wall mount bracket and table stand which makes it an elegant match for any television.

The new compact HTS7001 satellite speakers are the perfect accompaniment to provide the rear channel sound in the KHT8005's system. Despite their diminutive appearance they are excellent performers, thanks to their dual 50mm (2-inch) woofers and 19mm (0.75-inch) HF driver and, either placed on a table top or mounted on the wall, will envelop the user with lifelike surround effects.

No home cinema system is complete without a powerful subwoofer to provide the low frequency foundation and to support the whole system with realistic bass effect, and the KUBE-2 delivers this with output to spare. Featuring a powerful 200W Class-D amplifier and side-firing 250mm (10-inch) long-throw bass driver with complimentary 250mm (10-inch) ABR, the high performance KUBE-2 subwoofer delivers deep, well defined bass with adjustable bass boost control. This allows the listener to tailor the sub to match their listening preference or room acoustics.

The KHT8005 is available from October in a high gloss black finish. The recommended retail price is £1099.00 complete.
