avielo by projectiondesign Announces the quantum Full HD 1080p Projector (5/10/2009)

CEDIA US Expo 2009

avielo by projectiondesign announces the quantum, its newest and most affordable full HD 1080p projector. The avielo quantum weighs in at only 6.5 lbs making it a top contender for installation ease and flexibility.

A true home theater projector, the avielo quantum delivers high contrast images ideal for screen sizes up to 8-feet wide, and includes projectiondesign’s unique RealColor color management suite, full 10-bit video processing and Texas Instruments DLP technology. Each projector is hand-built and uniquely characterized and calibrated at the avielo factory in Fredrikstad, Norway, ensuring the best possible image quality.

The avielo quantum is available with four different high-resolution projection lenses each with vertical shift for out of the box ease of set-up for every application. Its compact chassis fits it into projector lifts that mount between standard ceiling joists, so no ceiling structural work is needed. Furthermore, the inclusion of AMX Device Discovery functionality, and being a Crestron Integrated Partner, simplifies the installation work from the integrator and ensures cost savings for the client.

The results are a powerful, yet small, projector that delivers breathtaking pictures with an image that cannot be beat in its price range – a quantum leap ahead of its competitors.

Excited about the launch of the new addition to the avielo line, Anders Løkke, International Marketing & Communications Manager at avielo by projectiondesign comments, “We’re delighted to bring this new projector to CEDIA EXPO 09. The avielo quantum is one of our entry-level models, supporting the avielo optix and avielo spectra models, but it packs a big punch from a small-sized projector, and delivers the same legendary performance of its larger, brighter siblings.”
