KEF adds KHT7005 Soundbar to home cinema line-up (26/10/2009)

Mid-Price Compact System Offers Excellent Sound Quality with Elegant Appearance

Designed to complement today's stylish flat panel televisions of 32-inch and larger, the new KEF KHT7005 Soundbar home cinema system may look diminutive, but the sound it produces is anything but.

Reproducing the front soundstage with awesome realism, the KHT7005 Soundbar’s HTF7003 front speaker’s stylish enclosure looks perfect under a flat screen. Each of the three channels contains dual 50mm (2-inch) woofers and a 19mm (0.75-inch) HF driver. For the customer’s convenience it comes supplied with a wall mount bracket and table stand.

The new ultra-compact HTS7001 satellite speakers are the perfect accompaniment to provide the rear channel sound in the KHT7005 system. They are superb performers thanks to their dual 50mm woofer and 19mm HF driver

The KUBE-1 subwoofer produces impressively powerful and precise bass. Its attractive cabinet is designed to be space saving while the 200W Class-D amplifier, which powers the 200mm (8-inch) long-throw bass driver and the 200mm (8-inch) Auxiliary Bass Radiator provides a truly dynamic performance for its size.

The KHT7005 is available now in a high gloss black finish. The recommended retail price is £899.99 complete. It can be wall mounted or cabinet placed.
