Panasonic Launches BB-HCM701 and BB-HCM705 Mini Dome IP Cameras (2/11/2009) George Orwell once said that Big Brother is watching you; Panasonic says that BB is always watching. With their new compact dome cameras the BB-HCM701 and 705, fortified in a tamperproof Polycarbonate shell and packed with the latest technology, these H.264 compression cameras optimise network data traffic without compromising on picture quality. They can expose any thief or vandal by alerting their controller to suspected tampering as it happens. So law breakers beware, BB isn’t just watching you, they are recording you as well. The Vandals Nemesis Build like a tank with the eye of an eagle, the hawkish BB-HCM701 and BB-HCM705 IP network cameras are 60% smaller than their predecessors and can be flush mounted straight onto a ceiling[1] making them one of the most discreet systems available. An exquisite mix of strength and alertness means they are able to detect motion, sound and shock and immediately alert the camera’s user that someone is trying to tamper with it. Set these cameras up to send images straight to an operators PC or mobile phone; or save the image to the built in memory or up to an optional 32GB SD card. Continuous Images - Minimal Space These new camera’s both boast Panasonic’s UniPhier ® advanced video processing chipset for crisp natural colours and more efficient video streaming. The new network cameras also feature H.264 video compression, which enables reduction of data volume by more than 30% compared to a standard MPEG-4 file. Less Bandwidth is used, resulting in a quicker transfer of images without compromising picture quality. Other key features include: * 1.3 megapixel camera (BB-HCM705) Launch Timings: BB-HCM705CE – 1.3 megapixel IP Camera (December 09) [1] with optional ceiling mount kit, BB-HCA12CE
