Denon adds DBP-4010UD Blu-ray line-up (4/11/2009) Denon, one of the world's premier manufacturers of high-quality home entertainment components, has introduced the DBP-4010UD. The new heavyweight offers outstanding audio and video performance thanks to its strictly selected components and proprietary Denon superior build quality. The DBP-4010UD lets home cinema enthusiasts not only enjoy Blu-ray discs and DVDs but also a wide variety of other formats such as Super Audio CDs, DVD-Audio discs and CDs - all at reference-quality replay. Contributing to this level of quality are Denon's vibration resistance technologies, such as the Direct Mechanical Ground Construction, a multi-layer chassis structure and the newly developed S.V.H. mechanism drive. The audio circuitry features Advanced AL24 processors, for all channels, to achieve superior sound quality. Moreover, the DBP-4010UD is equipped with DENON LINK 4th to virtually eradicate jitter during HDMI transmission. When combined with a Denon AV receiver that supports DENON LINK 4th as well, the best possible sound performance is achieved. The player's video section features leading-edge ABT (Anchor Bay Technologies) VRS processing for the highest-resolution video available with brilliant upconversion and i/p scaling to 1080p, from even lower-standard definition sources. Through the separation of analogue and digital video circuits, the user can enjoy the most faithful video playback. Denon unique technologies, like the D.P.I.C. (Denon Pixel Image Correction) or Digital Noise Reduction, add to the natural and lively image reproduction. The new DBP-4010UD not only offers the ultimate in audio and video, it adds unprecedented connectivity and compatibility with various media formats. An onboard Ethernet port allows for Internet connectivity, firmware updates, BD Live interactivity and Web Control support. AVCHD playback from DVDs, DivX, JPEG, MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV playback from DVDs or SD (and SDHC) attached to the front card reader add to the multiple opportunities the new top class player offers. The Denon DBP-4010UD, an elegantly styled entertainment solution, is the best match for Denon's award-winning new AV receiver line-up including the recently introduced Denon LINK 4th-equipped AVR-4810 and AVR-4310. The DBP-4010UD will be available at the end of November in a black or premium silver colour finish at a suggested retail price of £1899.99.
