NuVo Technologies announces global sales role for Chris Westfall (4/11/2009) NuVo Technologies, a leading innovator in multi-room audio systems for the home, has announced that Chris Westfall, its Vice President of Sales, USA will be expanding his territory to become Vice President, Global Sales. As part of his new role, Chris will be responsible for building on NuVo’s already considerable success in Europe, where the brand has become firmly established as a major player. Since joining NuVo in 2008, Chris has been responsible for overseeing the US-based company’s domestic sales efforts, including the pivotal launch of NuVo’s Renovia system which was unveiled to industry acclaim last month at CEDIA Expo 2009 in Atlanta. A groundbreaking whole-house audio system for the retrofit market, Renovia’s place in the market was further assured when it won the company a prestigious CEDIA Manufacturers’ Excellence Award after being named Best New Product at the show. Chris will be responsible for replicating this success internationally, when the Renovia is rolled-out, world-wide, in the first quarter of 2010. “In a tough economic climate Chris has done a fantastic job in growing NuVo’s market share in the US” says David Rodarte, NuVo’s president and chief operating officer. “We’re confident that he can take this experience to build the NuVo brand globally and support our dealers in making the most of the new business opportunities which Renovia will undoubtedly create”. Westfall will work closely with NuVo’s International Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) George Gavutis, and newly promoted Marketing Manager, Desiree Webster to develop a strong international sales strategy and communication plan for the all-important Renovia roll-out. The system, which uses a home’s electrical system to transmit music and metadata throughout multiple rooms, is aimed squarely at the retrofit market where the huge potential for installation of whole-home audio systems remains largely untapped.
