in-akustik shows AmbienTone sound walls and AmbienTrack cable conduit systems (3/12/2009)

Stand 4R53, ISE 2010

The pleasure of an elegant interior and exquisite sound, and never tripping over cables again: that’s AmbienTech. AmbienTech is the new range of products from in-akustik that combines intelligent house technology with stylish furnishing. Technology that shows what it can do by hiding itself. AmbienTech consists of AmbienTone sound walls and AmbienTrack cable conduit systems.

AmbienTone - the rich sound that comes from the wall

AmbienTone sound walls are 2-way flat diaphragm loudspeakers based on a bending wave transducer. They are integrated into modified plasterboard panels, which are installed in a dry-lined wall. The signals are controlled via an external crossover. With an output of 60 Watt/ 8 Ohm impedance and a frequency range of 80Hz to 18kHz, these sound walls can really make themselves heard. Only you can’t see them because they fit seamlessly into the wall. You can paint or paper over them, and even plaster over them to a depth of two millimetres with hardly any loss of sound. AmbienTone can be connected to commercially available amplifiers, no complicated electronics are needed. The speakers are suitable for stereo, 5.1 surround or multiroom configurations in living rooms, or simple mono installations in the kitchen or bathroom.

AmbienTrack - the attractive hide-away for all cables

While AmbienTone stays invisible, AmbienTrack sets visible accents in the interior design. These cable conduit systems of anodised aluminium are available in two material finishes. As wall columns and baseboards: mounted in-plaster, partly in- plaster or on•wall, AmbienTrack hides electronic, power and media cables behind an attractive facing. Switches and sockets can be positioned flexibly and reversibly in the room. Cables and connections can be changed without opening up the wall, if the requirement of the room changes. For example, if you now wish to use the children’s room as a home office or suddenly need another computer socket in the living room.

Live elegantly with AmbienTech AmbienTech consists of AmbienTone sound walls that fit invisibly into the wall, and AmbienTrack cable conduit systems that set a stylish accent in the room. Pure sound from the wall—AmbienTone AmbienTone is a flat diaphragm loudspeaker in a plasterboard panel that is installed in a dry-lined wall. The speaker sits out of sight inside the wall.

AmbienTech - sets stylish accents

AmbienTech with its AmbienTone and AmbienTrack components combines technology with interior design. When you use sound walls, there is no longer any need to use speaker boxes. If you install the smart media trunking systems, you’ll never trip over another cable or have to face the job of chasing out walls ever again. Both components from AmbienTech can be used individually by themselves or combined with each other. AmbienTech is particularly suitable for home owners who build, convert, renovate or restore, and for people who use technology, but don’t necessarily want to see it.
