BMB Electronics adds Axium, ebode and Parasound to its distribution portfolio (19/1/2010)

Stands 1K22, 1K31 and 1L17, ISE 2010

BMB adds three new brands to its World Class portfolio of custom solutions and debuts new products from Niles, Universal Remote and ReQuest.

BMB Electronics, one of Europe's Premier Distributors of Custom Installation, Audio Visual, Building Automation and Lighting solutions will again be a proud participant in the annual International "ISE Show" between February 2rd and 4th at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam. The BMB stands are located in Hall 1, Booth numbers 1K22, 1K31 and 1L17. On January 1, 2010 2 new brands will be added to the BMB Portfolio for pan-European distribution: Axium and ebode. Parasound will follow on February 1, 2010.

Axium – Unlike many multi room companies where Audio performance generally comes second to features and gimmicks, Axium’s approach from day one has been to craft products that sound just as good as a quality HiFi system. Of course, good sound is just the beginning - Axium products also provide a simple and elegant interface for the user as well as the ability for external automation control systems to access all the internal functions of the system. In fact, one of the reasons for BMB’s choice of Axium products is the flexible programming & system setup interface which BMB believes to be one of the best on the market. This means that an installer can quickly personalise almost any system for the end users requirements and tastes.

Parasound – For over 20 years Parasound has been making award winning critically acclaimed Audio Electronics and Home Theatre Components for discerning enthusiasts - people who care more about the nuances and subtle detail of their music and movies than the equipment that is reproducing them. Because of their quality, reliability and value for money, Parasound products are widely used by many well known musicians, producers and directors both at work and in their own homes. BMB takes over pan European distribution for Parasound from 1st February (except the UK.) ebode - ebode is a new European brand formed in 2009 dedicated to providing customers with affordable home automation products and innovative A/V ‘problem solvers’. Unlike many of the complex automation solutions available today, ebode's afforable and innovative ‘plug and play’ product line has been designed from day-one to be a simple to install and easy and convenient to integrate into a European home. Whether you want to remote control you’re A/V system, lighting, household appliances, shutters, blinds, awnings, home cinema screens and more, ebode has a solution that does the job right - often at a fraction of the cost of many competitors.  ebode is easy to install, easy to use, easy to afford and very easy  to sell!

BMB will also be placing a special ISE show focus on several exciting new products from the following companies:

Niles - MS-220 - This new IR sensor from Niles has extended range and wide off-axis operation that provides 100% reliability in virtually any IR environment, including with all the latest ‘tricky’ flat-panel TV technologies. Custom systems can now be installed solely on installation requirements without needing to have any regards for plasma and LCD displays, sunlight or fluorescent lights.

With Niles’ elegant sensor design, the installer no longer has to procure, stock, and bring several versions of the functionally same product to the job site in order for it to work in a specific environment, thereby reducing unnecessary carrying costs and avoiding “surprises” on the job site. The MS-220 received a nomination in the ‘AV Accessories’ category of the annual InAVate Awards.

URC - KP-4000 – The KP-4000 is also a nominee for the InAVate Awards this year – this time in the ‘Residential Control’ category. The KP-4000 is URC's first in wall remote with two-way RS-232 and IP communication ability. With this remote you can not only operate your A/V gear but can also control and receive feedback from IP-communicating devices such as IP-enabled media servers and cameras. However, add the new MRX-1 network base station, and you'll also get two-way RS-232 control and feedback for third-party subsystems, plus, IR over IP to control IR devices from the KP-4000. The MRX-1 is a multifaceted little RF hub that can be used with any URC remote and like the company's other base stations, it provides RF in and IR out, relays and a video/voltage sensor.

ReQuest – Internet Radio – Whole house entertainment system market leader ReQuest Inc. is adding a new dimension to their F.Series music and movie servers by adding Internet Radio – giving free access to thousands of Internet streaming radio stations. Stations can be searched by name, genre or bit rate on the system’s web server and favourite stations can be added to a station list for quick and easy access from any control panel in the house. Once added, stations can be renamed and given custom cover art using the same tools already available for hard drive library music. Thousands of 128k or better stations are available for the kind of high quality music experience that ReQuest users have come to expect and enjoy. Finally, BMB will also be proudly showing all the latest products from their other great brands at ISE - TruAudio, Terra, Atlantic Technology, Amina, Lowell, Sanus, FatCat, Mighty Brighty, Lowell and Planet Waves.
