James Loudspeaker shows Plasma Bar, EMB Subwoofers, Beryllium Series Loudspeakers and M1000 Subwoofer Power Amplifier (26/1/2010) Stand 11M41, ISE 2010 SPL39LCR-AL James Loudspeaker LLC has released the ultra shallow SPL39LCR-AL, a new member of its Aria Plasma Bar Series designed for the new breed of thin LCD TVs. The SPL39LCR if a full 3 channel left/right/center under screen bar speaker system that is 4” tall (102mm) and 1.5” deep (38mm), while the width is custom manufactured to match the width of the Plasma or LCD TV/monitor. The SPL39LCR-AL utilizes custom designed 3.5” woofers with dual neodymium magnet motors and a unique concave aluminum cone. The tweeter is 1” soft dome design with smooth, extended response. Only air core inductors and precision film capacitors are used in the network to maintain seamless frequency response and wide dispersion. The SPL39LCR-AL is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum throughout allowing it to also be used in harsh environments. Also, marine and outdoor options are available. The standard finishes are natural brushed aluminum and black anodized – and custom colors can be specially ordered. Also available is the SPL36CS-AL “dual monaural” design which provides a center channel image though the use of 2 center speakers in each left and right system. PL39LCR-AL James Loudspeaker LLC has released the PL39LCR-AL, a new member of its Plasma Bar Series. The PL39LCR if a full 3 channel left/right/center under screen bar speaker system that is 4” tall (102mm) and 3.5” deep (89mm), while the width is custom manufactured to match the width of the Plasma or LCD TV/monitor. The PL39LCR-AL utilizes custom designed and patented high excursion 3” woofers with dual neodymium magnet motors and an aluminum cone. The tweeter is 1” soft dome design with smooth, extended response. EMB series James Loudspeaker LLC has released the EMB series of floor standing and in-cabinet subwoofers, featuring all aluminum construction, compact size, high output and James famous “Energy Multiplying Bandpass” (EMB) technology. The EMB is available in multiple configurations to solve many applications. The EMB10 is a 10” woofer version and the EMB12 is a 12” woofer version and are passive. The EBM10P/EBM12P are powered versions with a rear mounted 600W class-D amplifier. The EMB10RM/EMB12RM feature the passive versions supplied with the new James M1000 external 1000W DSP rack mountable amplifier. All of the above models can be ordered as “BP” versions (EMB10BP/EMB12BP) which adds a unique front acoustic director that sends the acoustic out the bottom or side so the subwoofer can be installed and hidden in a furniture and the energy directed out of the cabinet though a slot opening. All models are available in brushed natural aluminum and black anodized, and can be ordered in custom colors as well to fit any décor. 806BE James Loudspeaker LLC has released the 806BE, a new member of its Beryllium Series. Incorporating James’ new “offset-array technology” (with four Beryllium tweeters) and two neodymium magnet, aluminum cone 8” woofers, the 808BE has a rated sensitivity of 92dB and sonically matches it’s larger brothers, the 808BE an 812BE for seamless integration into custom home theater rooms. Also having high power handling, the 808BE can produce high listening levels while maintaining low distortion. The 806BE is constructed of non-resonant aircraft grade aluminum throughout allowing the 806BE to also be used in harsh environments. Also marine/outdoor options are available. Large air core inductors and precision film capacitors are used in the network to maintain a seamless frequency response and wide distortion is ensured by the “offset array” tweeters. A high frequency level control allows room response optimization. The 808BE is less than 4” deep for in wall mounting in normal construction, and an on-wall enclosure is available if required. 808BE James Loudspeaker LLC has released the 808BE, a new member of its Beryllium Series. Incorporating James’ new “offset-array technology” (with four Beryllium tweeters), two 6.5” neodymium midrange drivers and two neodymium 8” woofers, the 808BE has a remarkable rated sensitivity of 95dB. Also having high power handling, the 808BE can produce thunderous listening levels with maintaining low distortion. Bi-amp capability and terminals are also included. High and mid level controls allow room response optimization. The 808BE is less than 4” deep for in wall mounting in normal construction, and an on-wall enclosure is available if required. M1000 subwoofer power amplifier James Loudspeaker LLC has released the M1000 subwoofer power amplifier. The M1000 is a state-of-the-art, 2U (3.5” tall), class D digital amplifier delivering 1000 Watts RMS of power into any 4 ohm load. The M1000 also features a DSP front end to allow full control of all crossover functions, filter settings, EQ and various other control settings. Four front panel indicators appear from behind the smoked panel to indicate power, standby, clipping and signal presence. A front panel LCD display and 5 button control allow full programming of the DSP functions, as well as function as a volume and output display. The rear panel included XLR and RCA inputs, and RCA outputs for looping to other amplifiers. 5-way binding posts are provided for the speaker connections. Rear panel 12V trigger and external IR connectors are provided. The M1000 is convection cooled (fanless) for operation inside viewing rooms. For rack mounting, optional rack ears are included with each amplifier as well as a remote control. The M1000 is also 115V/230V switchable.
