Sonos showcases all-in-one ZonePlayer S5 (7/2/2010)

ISE 2010

Sonos is exhibiting its full range of wireless multi-room music systems at ISE, including showcasing its ground breaking all-in-one ZonePlayer S5 for the first time at a European trade show. In addition, Sonos is revealing UK sales growth figures and will be revealing why its products have been so successful with installers and consumers alike.

Sonos has really bucked the trend in home audio over the past year. Despite a climate which has seen consumer spending hit hard, Sonos sales have continued to grow rapidly. In Q4 2009 vs Q4 2008, the number of UK households with Sonos grew by 67%, while the number of rooms connected to Sonos grew 75%.

With the launch of the S5, the first all-in-one ZonePlayer with five built-in drivers, a Sonos experience is more accessible than ever before and therefore appeals to a greater range of consumers, especially as people continue to renovate their existing homes rather than moving, and so choose to retrofit a multiroom systems into existing properties. Previously, music systems had to be built into a house from the start, or people had to embark on major refurbishment work in order to install them, usually at great expense. Sonos has removed the need for expensive installation projects and can be installed easily into any home, making it the perfect choice for both installers and their customers.

Momentum within the music streaming industry is set to continue as music streaming services continue to gain huge attention from the mainstream media. A Sonos system is the perfect set up to allow people to stream internet music all over the house, without the hassle and expense of wires.
