UNICOL launches new mounting products into the lifestyle product range (22/2/2010)

Not only has UNICOL been associated with large scale professional installations such as providing mounting equipment for use in airports, Schools, shopping malls, supermarkets etc, but additionally has supported a wide range of products for residential applications.

Going into 2010, UNICOL will continue to expand on its range of consumer products by releasing several new products onto the market such as the AZANA® which is a stand for large LCD and Plasma screens. It’s elegant looks and large glass shelves combined with a swivel screen to provide the best viewing angle ensure a valuable addition to any home visual installation.

For home cinema fans the GKX Gyrolock® projector mount combines distinctive minimal style with universal fixing, or the UNICOL Tri-lock™ docking system that makes for an easy, precise and quick installation. The full tilt and turn adjustments gives additional flexibility for ease of viewing while the close to the ceiling feature and neat appearance makes the projector itself unobtrusive.

Another addition to the UNICOL home product range is the SL8 which is unique in that it is claimed to be the slimmest mount in the world at only 7.5 mm from the back of the screen to the wall. It has been designed specifically for the new backlit thin screens and also to support the thin profile displays in both landscape and portrait modes. The all new POZIMOUNT™ is a Universal mount which is designed most displays from 32 – 65 inch in both portrait and landscape formats is also available from UNICOL. Several variations of the POZIMOUNT™ have also been made in order to support a 4 way power socket and enough space for accessories such as extra shelves for video players or receivers etc.

Together with its partners UNICOL will also be introducing a range of products that will aimed at the professional home cinema market where flat screens and projectors need to be electrically controlled into their correct viewing or home position. It will also be possible to have motorized lifts for flat screens and projectors, where the projector or screen is concealed in the roof or in a cabinet. The demand for this function is increasing in typical installations such as in yachts’, caravans and other places where space is limited yet the requirement for visual aid is also necessary.
