Opus Technologies appoints new marketing manager (15/3/2010) Opus Technologies is pleased to announce Nick Fewster has joined the team in the role of Marketing Manager, as part of Opus’ continuing expansion strategy. Nick’s role will include responsibility for developing and implementing Opus’ international marketing programmes and he will also provide dedicated support to the press. Nick, who reports to Director of Marketing Simon Hewitt, has eight years’ business to business and B2C marketing experience in the consumer electronics industry - the last four at Armour Home. 2010 will be an exciting year for Opus and Nick’s appointment reflects the company’s ambitious plans for the much anticipated new 6 Series - previewed exclusively at this year’s Integrated Systems Europe in Amsterdam. The Opus 6 Series multi-room entertainment system adds a new level of sophistication to the smart home. This hotly awaited solution will deliver new levels in multi-room touchscreen audio and HD video entertainment. Furthermore, the 6 Series will offer effortless whole-house entertainment control of the latest media sources, lighting, energy management and CCTV. Simon Hewitt said “I’m delighted to welcome Nick to the team. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Opus.
