CEDIA Supports the Gadget Show Live 2010 (23/3/2010)

CEDIA will be lending its support to The Gadget Show Live 2010 for the second year, as part of its strategy to increase consumer awareness of the Association and its members. CEDIA will be hosting a number of free seminars, to be held on the show floor, to inform and educate visitors to the lifestyle benefits of an integrated home. The Gadget Show Live takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on 7th – 11th April.

The event will feature stage shows from the TV show’s presenters, technology master classes, first showings of new products and exclusive discounts on loads of top kit. There will be a Future Home theatre where CEDIA will be running presentations with topics including: “Technology Trends – The Top Things to Watch in 2010”; “Creating a Cinema and Gaming Room in your home”; “3D Technology Brief”: “Cloud Content – Using the internet to get your music, films and TV” and “Wired vs Wireless”.

The Gadget Show will be holding an exclusive Trade and Press Preview which will allow pre-registered industry professionals to get a first look at the products on exhibit. The Trade and Press Preview is from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Wednesday 7th April.

CEDIA is the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, an international, not-for-profit trade organisation, spanning three continents with a global membership of over 3,500 companies. Midlands based Install Automation, one of CEDIA’s members with expertise in the planning, design, supply and installation of automated electronic systems for the modern, intelligent home will be supporting CEDIA at the event. CEDIA members can install anything from home cinemas to complete home networks and sub-systems to intelligently control lighting, security, HVAC (heating, ventilation & air conditioning), and even garden facilities, from lighting to watering. The association will have a presence on stand C12B with staff on hand to answer any questions visitors may have.
