Keene Electronics Re-designs and Updates In-wall Amplifiers and VRC Volume Control (28/4/2010)

IR Distribution Amplifier

The Keene IRBKIT has been a very popular product ever since it's introduction in 2005. The case design has proved very popular with installers so rather than mess with a winning formulae the changes are all internal. New for 2010 the IRBKIT circuitry has been tweaked to give even faster signal processing and to improve compatibility with other manufacturers circuitry it now has the output emitter return to connected to signal ground.

KLAB In-Wall Amplifier

The original KLAB in-wall amplifier was available in a variety of configurations, including fixed gain and no-remote options. These options have now been consolidated into one user-configurable circuit giving the installer the means to choose via PCB links at time of installation. Also, acting on feedback from installers, the loudspeaker speaker have been re-located for easier connectivity.

VRC Volume Control

A popular little problem solver the VRC provides remote volume control for any audio device with in-line connections. New for 2010 the VRC has been updated to provide an on-board IR receiver and audio circuitry tweaked for lower distortion and wider input range.
