Peerless expands its ‘world’s thinnest’ range with Slimline universal ultra-slim articulating and tilting wall-mounts (4/5/2010)

Peerless-AV Europe is pleased to present a new range of universal ultra-slim articulating and tilting SlimLine wall-mounts. These add to the award-winning, world’s thinnest, flat-to-wall products that were introduced in 2009, and are the ideal products to complement the latest generation of ultra-thin LED and LCD panels.

In a market where “Thinner is the Winner” switched-on installers will be looking for mounting products that will enhance the aesthetics of this exciting new technology rather than using conventional brackets that could be a number of times thicker than the panel itself. All the models in the Slimline range offer the most discrete mounting available, to the extent that they can be virtually invisible once installed, and can therefore save valuable space in any setting.

The SUA745PU and SUA750PU fully articulating Slimline mounts are intended for 32-46in and 37-56in ultra-thin screens respectively, and the arms on both mounts retract to 28mm (1.1in) from the wall. They also extend to 604mm (23.8in) on the SUA745 and 734mm (28.9in) on the SUA750, thus allowing for full 180° movement (90° left and right) to ensure ideal screen placement and complete versatility of application.

Other key features include one-touch tilt adjustment of +15/-5°, without the use of tools, providing easy-tweaks to viewing angles and +/-5° of roll to allow for horizontal levelling of the screen after fitting without the need to remove and remount either screen or bracket.

The SUT645P and SUT660P tilting Slimline mounts are intended for 32-46in and 37-56in screens respectively, and position screens a mere 17mm (0.68in) from the wall. Key benefits for quick and easy installation include full-motion tilt of +17.5° and -5°, horizontal adjustment up to 203mm (8in), screen adapters that hook simply onto the wall plate and a convenient extension of up to 149mm (5.88in) from the wall, allowing for hands-free access to the back of the screen
